Kew-Forest Parents
About the Kew-Forest Parents Association (KFPA)
We're kicking off the school year with renewed energy and spectacular goals for the Kew-Forest Parents Association (KFPA). We focus on two main objectives: making our children's time at Kew-Forest even more vibrant and showing our faculty and staff how much we appreciate them.
Fun Beyond the Classroom
- In the coming seasons, we’ll be putting a fresh spin on some of our favorite traditions. Get ready for a Gingerbread House Party (a sweet twist on our usual cookie decorating), a Taco Tuesday for Cinco de Mayo, and of course, our classic favorites, like Pumpkins & Pizza Day and the International Culture Potluck.
- We've also partnered with national aquariums and rural farms to bring science to life with incredible in-school learning opportunities, including a live reptile assembly, a life-sized inflatable walk-in whale (!) and even chick egg hatching projects.
- We’ll also be organizing community service projects like collecting food for pets of the homeless to support overlooked needs in our community. All of these experiences are sure to be as memorable as they are fun! Remember to check our 2025-2026 Calendar of Events to save the dates, and to read our monthly newsletter for the brilliant recaps!
Showing Our Appreciation
- Our second main goal is to let our amazing faculty and staff know just how much we appreciate everything they do for our children. Their hard work and dedication truly make Kew-Forest a special place.
- You can help us with this by donating to the Faculty & Staff Appreciation Fund. Every contribution is received with heartfelt thanks, and we love sharing those messages of appreciation with all of you!

Welcome from the
KFPA President
Hello there, Kew-Forest Families,
On behalf of the Kew-Forest Parents Association (KFPA), I warmly welcome you all to the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Kerry-Ann Holman (P. ’28, ‘31) and it is my honor to serve as your ‘25-‘26 KFPA President.
I am super excited to share that the KFPA Executive Committee has planned a variety of events and initiatives that will connect families, celebrate imagination, and honor the diverse cultures that make The Kew-Forest School so special.
Independent schools often rely on parents to contribute their time and skills, which can significantly enhance the educational experience for students and support the school's mission. Sign up to volunteer and be a part of the action! Here’s to a year of connection, creativity, compassion—and action.
Together, the Kew-Forest community is shaping the future- one student, one family, and one effort at a time.
Warm regards,
Kerry-Ann Holman,
P ‘28, ‘31, KFPA President

Ways to get involved
We graciously thank those of you who have stepped forward thus far to serve as Executive Committee members and Class Representatives for the 2025-2026 school year.
As parents first and foremost, we understand how comforting it can be to have an accessible school community as a resource for information and support. We encourage every parent and guardian to get involved, whether through volunteering, attending events, or sharing your ideas. Your KFPA cannot thank you enough for your support!
