 | We are delighted that you are considering Kew-Forest for your child’s education. Since 1918, K-F has provided students in Grades Pre-K-12 with an academically rigorous education in a small, caring, and safe environment. Like our peer schools in Manhattan and Brooklyn, we are proud that our program and staff have met the high standards required for accreditation by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS).
Come for a Visit! If you haven’t already done so, we would like to invite you to visit Kew-Forest during one of our weekly Welcome Wednesday Prospective Parent Orientations [click here to view our admissions calendar]. By visiting our campus, meeting our staff and students, and peeking into our classrooms, you will soon appreciate what makes Kew-Forest so special. This is a place where small classes and close teacher/student relationships make all the difference in a child’s confidence, learning, and development. Our curriculum combines the traditional values in education that prepare students for college with innovative technology and elective courses that inspire independent thought and research. Our extracurricular activities enable children to explore their passions while developing their social skills. |
We're Here to Help We know how important your child's education is, and how difficult it can be to get an inside view of a school community that you haven't yet joined. That's why we also invite you to explore our web site or call us at 718-268-4667 ext. 125. There is nothing we love more than telling you about our students and our school! |

We are extremely proud of our unique student body, which is one of the most international to be found in any independent school in New York City. Kew-Forest has students from each of the inhabited continents, of every racial make-up, and with many different religious beliefs. All exist in harmony, with an extraordinary appreciation for diversity, tolerance, and respect for differences. In addition, based on standardized test scores, our students are academically “above average.” Virtually all who graduate from K-F matriculate to four-year colleges and universities.
