That’s why we’re so fortunate at Kew-Forest. Since 1918, our little school in Queens has nurtured, guided, and educated thousands of young students, many of whom are now leaders in their fields. But we couldn’t have maintained our commitment to academic excellence and student achievement without the generous support of a long line of caring people, from our faculty and staff to our parents, alumni, trustees, and friends.

Our school may be turning 90 years old this year, but it’s nowhere near done with growing!  That’s why it’s so important for everyone who cares about Kew-Forest to learn about our Annual Fund, our Winter Gala & Benefit Auction, our Scholarship Fund, Planned Giving, and other fund-raising initiatives.

Our first Annual Fund campaign was launched during the 1999/2000 school year, as a way of helping K-F meet the challenge that all independent schools face: how to bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual costs of educating students. Now, the funds that each campaign generates are built in to our budgeting process. Thanks to the Annual Fund, tax-deductible gifts from people who value education and share our commitment to academic excellence have fueled amazing growth at Kew-Forest. Among other things, it has enabled us to increase our staff, sharpen our curriculum, upgrade our classrooms, and fill our school with new books and cutting-edge technology.

Kew-Forest needs to stay at the cutting edge of education. We need to be able to provide the newest generation of students with an outstanding preparation for college and for life. To accomplish this goal, K-F is relying on the continued support of every member in its caring community.
