K-F Life

Uniforms are an important part of The Kew-Forest School tradition. All students in Grades Preschool – Grade 12 are required to wear uniforms.  Additionally, on specified days seniors will be able to come to school in national or religious attire, or in business attire, as defined in the Middle and Upper School Handbook.
Kew-Forest’s uniform affirms our culture as a learning community by encouraging neat and tidy appearance and reducing potential distractions. By choosing to be members of the Kew-Forest Community, Preschool through Grade 12 families agree to uphold the dress standards outlined in the uniform.

Academic Uniform Requirements

REMINDER:  Please remember to label all clothing (uniform garments, coats, boots, hats, mittens, etc); it helps immensely to identify misplaced items. For Preschool, PreK, and Kindergarten students, a complete change of uniform (including underwear) should be left at school.

Physical Education Uniform Requirements

The KFPA organizes a uniform resale at various times throughout the school year, typically during the first week of school and during parent/teacher conferences in the fall/spring. They collect clean, gently used uniforms and sell each piece for $5. The school patch can also be purchased for the blazer.
Please contact the KFPA to arrange to view the inventory at school at kfpa@kewforest.org.
