Admission

Welcome

Welcome to The Kew-Forest School.  I’m glad you have decided to take a look at our community.

As you explore these pages, you will begin to learn about the subjects we study, the sports we play, the clubs we build, and the art we create.  I encourage you to fully absorb this information.  Our program and curriculum reflect the intellect, talents, and passions of our community.  After you’ve looked through the site, I encourage you to visit our campus.  Once you’re here, you will begin to understand the qualities that make K-F truly remarkable.

Our admission page tells you about our intentionally small community.  On campus, our students and faculty will demonstrate this dynamic in action.  You will see deep, engaged classroom discussion, fostered by the warmth and comfort that exists between the students and faculty.  You will see our youngest students -- the pre-kindergartners in the early childhood class -- hugging, talking to, and laughing with fifth graders in the hall.  You will see family-style lunches, with older students serving food to, sitting with, and connecting with younger students.  You will see a family.

From our website, you can learn that our students represent approximately 60 different nationalities and speak at least 20 different languages at home.  On campus, our community will demonstrate the value of this astonishing -- and perhaps unmatched -- diversity.  You will see classroom learning enriched by countless unique perspectives and experiences.  You will see a curriculum that organically embraces the study of and respect for the world’s many cultures.  You will see an accomplished Model United Nations program whose General Assembly meetings look and sound like the actual United Nations.  You will see the world, all in one place.

The Kew-Forest School is a unique and extraordinary community.  Come visit, and you will see.
