Paper Only Application Instructions

If you are not applying online through the link above, all paper only applicants should begin by submitting the Application for Admission. Parents should also complete the Parent Questionnaire corresponding to the grade level of their child (Early Childhood through Grade 6 or Grades 7-12). Students applying to grade 6 or higher should complete the Student Questionnaire. International applicants should submit the International Applicant Supplement. All of these documents are due by 12:00pm on Wednesday, December 20th.

Families should also submit several documents to their current schools, including the Records Release Form and the Teacher Evaluation Forms corresponding to their grade level: Lower School applicants should complete the form for Early Childhood, Kindergarten/Grade 1, or Grades 2-6.

Middle and Upper School applicants should complete both a Math Teacher Recommendation and English Teacher Recommendation form. For these forms, fill out Part 1, then deliver the forms to your current school for completion. School documents are due by 12:00pm on Wednesday, January 24th.

All documents may be submitted via mail to:

Forest Hills, NY 11375

Families and schools may also submit applications via email to:

For families applying to grades 7-12, we encourage applicants to sit for either the SSAT or ISEE exam.  These exams are not required and are not weighted heavily in the admission process.  Instead, they are a helpful tool to guide course selection and other academic decisions, in the event that an applicant ultimately enrolls at Kew-Forest.  For more information on test dates and registration, please click on the links above.  For consideration during our standard admission timeline, applicants must sit for either exam by January 10th.
