Introducing The Kew-Forest School's Strategic Plan

Dear Kew-Forest Community,

After embarking upon a school year like no other, and recently celebrating 102 years since our School’s  founding, it is our great joy and honor to introduce The Kew-Forest School’s strategic plan, Building a Sustainable Future: A Five-Year Strategic Plan for The Kew-Forest School

Strategic planning provides an opportunity to define an organization’s direction and identify strategies to accomplish goals within a specified time period. A successful strategic plan requires careful decision making in order to allocate resources, including funds, time, and people, to deploy those strategies. For Kew-Forest, Building a Sustainable Future: A Five-Year Strategic Plan for The Kew-Forest School sets a clear and aligned set of goals in support of enhancing various aspects of the School over the next 3-5 years. The last several months have left us all acutely aware that forces over which we have no control may impact our School without notice. Our Strategic Plan is a living document; it has the potential to evolve and be expanded to adapt to time and circumstances.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Administrative Team and Board of Trustees for taking the lead in stewarding and implementing the Strategic Plan. Both groups are eager to engage our wider school community on this journey. Please stay tuned for process and progress updates on the Strategic Plan portal at kewforest.org/StrategicPlan

We are confident that our excitement and energy with respect to our vision for the future of The Kew-Forest School will be contagious!
