Grade 8 Counselor In Training (C.I.T.) Program

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we will be unable to offer a Counselor in Training (C.I.T.) program this year.

We hope to be able to offer our regular C.I.T. Program in the summer of 2022.

The below information is from a previous summer and is for reference purposes only.
The Kew-Forest School is proud to present its annual C.I.T. (Counselor-in-Training) Program for those entering Grade 8. This exciting option gives students an opportunity to work with younger campers (in K-F’s Summer Camp for Grades K-7) and learn how to become caring counselors.

Our C.I.T.’s:
  • Receive counselor training and hands-on childcare experience
  • Attend field trips with their assigned group
  • Participate in all camp-based activities and more!
To enroll in this special supervised program, download the registration forms here! After successful completion of our C.I.T Program, participants receive a certificate of completion!

Group assignments will be given on your child's first day of camp.  Please plan on visiting the camp office 10 minutes early on your first day.

If you have any questions, please call the Camp Office at (718) 268-4667 ext. 108.
