The goal of the KFPA is simple – to enrich our children’s lives beyond academia. Parent involvement and a strong home/school connection will only enhance your child's educational experience.

Welcome from the KFPA Co-presidents

Dear Kew-Forest Families,

On behalf of the Kew-Forest Parents Association (KFPA), we welcome you all to the 2023-2024 school year! As many of you may already know, the KFPA Executive Committee is embarking on an unexpected yet thrilling approach this year, by offering not one but TWO parents to share the role of President! We, Fiona Monahan and Kerry-Ann Holman, have the honor of serving as your ‘23- ‘24 KFPA Co-Presidents. We are busy parents ourselves, and understand that time is both precious and limited. However, we recognize that it is also our responsibility as parents to contribute to the KFPA, and in turn, our Kew-Forest community.

The KFPA is here to perform several tasks, but we believe there are two primary goals. The first is to enhance our children’s time at K-F beyond academics, with events like our Annual Gingerbread Party, Bingo Night, International Culture Celebration, and more. The second is to make sure our faculty and staff know how much we appreciate all that they do for our children. On this note, please consider donating to the Faculty and Staff Appreciation Fund, with a credit card, check, or Venmo.

This school year, the KFPA will offer quarterly in-person and virtual general meetings. Look out for our monthly newsletter to keep up-to-date on all the amazing contributions your KFPA team provides, year-round! Additionally, we are grateful to all who were able to attend our first KFPA meeting on Friday, September 15th, where we held a “Meet and Greet” with a continental breakfast for all our attendees, made a spirited call for KFPA volunteers and lastly organized another successful Uniform Resale event!

We graciously thank those of you who have stepped forward thus far to serve as Executive Committee members, Class Representatives, Event Co-Chairs and more! We encourage every parent and guardian to get involved, stay in the know, and lend a hand when you can.
There will always be an opportunity to play a role in your KFPA - please feel welcome to reach out at any time. Email us at kfpa@kewforest.org or complete this Volunteer Form, to find out how you can join the fun!

We look forward to facilitating another year of enjoyable events, as we build a stronger community for our children. Your KFPA cannot thank you enough for your support!

Warmly,
Kerry-Ann Holman, P. ‘28, ‘31
