Learn more about Athletics!

Our Mission at Kew-Forest is to provide a positive athletic experience and instill in each student athlete the values of sportsmanship, character, and commitment

Kew-Forest has an extensive Athletic Program throughout three seasons, Fall, Winter and Spring. The Director of Sports, Health & Wellness is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all Kew-Forest teams.

Kew-Forest is a member of the Private School Athletic Association (PSAA) but also participates in non-league games with other independent and parochial schools.

Kew-Forest fields 20 Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams for boys and girls. The level of competitive participation is arranged for each student appropriate to age, development, ability and interest. Although competition emphasizes winning, it is done so in a framework that allows students to feel successful by meeting personal performance goals.

The Physical Education program at Kew-Forest is a curricular requirement where performance evaluations determine a student's fitness level. Students are assessed on aerobic capacity, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and functionality, to create a base line for exercise prescription and to be used as a frame of reference for student progress.
