Arriving By Subway
Take the E or F train to the Union Turnpike/Kew Gardens station. When you exit, walk toward the south Side of Queens Blvd. at Union Turnpike (Chase Bank and Starbucks are landmarks). The Kew-Forest School is one block south from this point. Proceed to the primary entrance with the Kew-Forest awning, ring the buzzer, and you will be granted access by the receptionist who will alert the Admission Office of your arrival.
Arriving By Car From The East
Take the Grand Central Parkway and get off at the Queens Boulevard exit (#15). Follow the signs for Queens Boulevard staying in the far left lane. Make the first available left turn and get into the local lanes for Queens Boulevard heading in the other direction. In three blocks at 78th Avenue, turn right and proceed up the hill for one block.
As in all New York City neighborhoods, parking is tight around Kew-Forest. We ask visitors to be patient with this situation and plan enough time to find street parking when visiting the school. Off-street parking is available at Sylvan Kew Garage.
Arriving By Car From The West
Take the Grand Central Parkway to the Queens Boulevard exit (#12). Stay on the service road until it ends (about six blocks). Traffic must turn right on 78th Avenue. Drive up 78th Avenue to Queens Boulevard, cross the Boulevard, and continue up 78th Avenue to Kew Forest Lane. Turn left onto Kew Forest Lane and drive one block to Union Turnpike. The School will be located on the corner to your right.

Where To Park When You Arrive
If driving, please allow enough time to find parking. As in all New York City neighborhoods, street parking is limited.
Off-street parking is available at Sylvan Kew Garage. The entrance is located on 80th Road between Queens Boulevard/Kew Garden Road and Austin Street. Look for the black office building off of Queens Boulevard where 24 Hour Fitness is located.
How To Enter Our Building
Once you arrive at Kew-Forest, please enter the school at the Union Turnpike entrance. Ring the bell and the Receptionist will buzz you into the building and ask you to sign in. You will be given a "Guest" badge and the party you are to meet will be called to greet you. Your “Guest” badge must be worn prominently throughout your stay in the school. When you have finished your visit to Kew-Forest, return your badge to the Receptionist, sign out, and exit through the doors on Union Turnpike.
Please Note: The Kew-Forest School is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 p.m. on school days. There is no entry after 6:00 p.m. unless special arrangements have been made in advance with a school administrator.
