Welcome to Middle School
Middle School is a period of rapid physical, social, and intellectual change. The experience of students shifts significantly in terms of their bodies, social circles, and sense of self. These changes can be exciting, challenging, and scary all at once. To support these transitions, Kew-Forest:
- provides a balanced environment of structure, freedom, and new experiences
- creates a safe space for middle school students to learn and grow
- has small class sizes (a student/teacher ratio of 6:1)
- students are seen and heard, not only from an academic perspective but also from a social-emotional one.

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) school in the Middle Years Programme (MYP), we take pride in unlocking our students’ natural curiosity, creativity, and reflective thinking.
