Welcome from the Head of School
Kew-Forest:
Diversity in Action
Through financial aid, scholarships, and targeted admissions, we ensure that our student body reflects the vibrant mosaic of Queens. Our families come from 54 neighborhoods, represent over 60 countries, and speak over 30 different languages at home. With nine percent of our students hailing from international backgrounds, our diversity and small class size form the heart of our identity. Kew-Forest’s commitment to allocating financial aid, up to $3 million in recent years, has made this diversity possible.
Kew-Forest’s core curriculum, spanning Preschool to Grade 12, is infused with the spirit of our founding mission, “To make every child a power for good.” Our students are confident, intelligent, and prepared to be catalysts for positive change in our country and the world, where diversity is a given and the power of an educated mind and compassionate heart leads the way. We are proud that 100% of our graduates go on to pursue higher education, including many at highly selective colleges and universities. While Kew-Forest upholds a traditional curriculum, our students across divisions now participate in expanded and enriched curricula, unlocking opportunities in technology, music, arts, and performance.
Unlock K-F Community
One of our great joys is welcoming back our alumni to Kew-Forest. Their stories of seamlessly integrating into college life and achieving social and academic success are a testament to the foundation they built here. Our dedicated faculty and 1:5 faculty/student ratio ensure that every student is seen, heard, and encouraged to unlock their full potential. Kew-Forest’s legacy is reflected in our alumni’s accomplishments across various fields, including education, film, publishing, science, technology, and television. We are immensely proud of our alumni and their continued connection to our school.

We invite you to join us and become part of this warm, vibrant, and extraordinary learning community. Together, let’s unlock the future.
