College Counseling

Ms. Helena Fang joined Kew-Forest in 2024. With 11 years of extensive experience in college counseling and student recruitment, working with diverse student bodies from all over the world, Ms. Fang brings an impressive skill set to Kew-Forest.

 

Ms. Fang holds an MS in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and a BA in English from Northern Arizona University. She also earned a Certificate in Graphic Design from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her professional journey includes serving as the Director of College Admissions for several educational programs on the East Coast, where she has helped thousands of students gain acceptance to their desired colleges.

With her in-depth knowledge of various colleges and majors, Ms. Fang provides personalized guidance to a wide range of students, helping them make informed decisions about their unique educational paths. In recent years, she has engaged with current and former admissions officers from top-tier colleges, further enhancing her understanding of colleges' expectations and the qualities they seek in candidates.

Ms. Fang is not only proficient in public speaking, project management, and organizational skills, she is also bilingual in English and Mandarin. She brings to Kew-Forest a passion for serving and guiding all students and their families towards success. Ms. Fang is dedicated to ensuring that each student finds the best college fit, and that Kew-Forest's college counseling model is one that is individualized, accessible, and effective for all.
