Ten months ago, The Kew-Forest School’s Mission Task Force met for the first time to begin the arduous but rewarding process of re-articulating our school’s mission.
From that frosty evening in February 2019 to September 2019, the Task Force met numerous times and spent countless hours analyzing our former mission and drafting our new mission. The focus was to ground the mission in values that have stood the test of time, embed teaching and learning features unique to the Kew-Forest experience, and capture the core character of our school. Our Mission Statement is our north star.
The Kew-Forest School’s new Mission Statement was unveiled at a special all-school assembly on Friday, December 6. It is my immense honor to share this with you below.
