Class of 2020 Present Their Senior Wall!

Congratulations to the Class of 2020!!!

The Senior Wall, designed and painted by the graduating class, has been a tradition at Kew-Forest since 1969. The Class of 2020 is incredibly interested in politics and committed to social justice, so wanted their wall to be symbolic of those values.⁣ ⁣⁣

Their wall is an image of the Powerpuff Girls with a twist. Under each Powerpuff Girl, there is a symbol of a social movement that has been important to the Class of 2020. They collectively decided to include the #MeToo Movement, Black Lives Matter, and the LGBTQ+ Flag.⁣ ⁣ ⁣

“As seniors, we influence the rest of the student body and want to encourage them to be concerned about the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in our country. We believe that this wall will hopefully inspire younger students to become socially aware of the problems that face our generation.”⁣
