Resiliency, Acceptance, and Looking Ahead, hosted by Dr. Leah Guterman, PsyD, Clinical Psychologist ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center, Child Mind Institute
The pandemic has presented unforeseen challenges for everyone. Resilience is the ability to mentally or emotionally cope with a crisis.
Understanding and accepting change is critical to teaching and developing this skill over time.
This presentation will provide an overview of factors that foster a growth mindset and contribute to resilience.
The workshop will provide strategies to combat perfectionism and promote coping skills that can be immediately applied to support students in today’s world.
Throughout the year, the KFPA arranges for small gifts like Starbucks gift cards, cookies, winter holiday gifts, and an end-of-year lunch. It’s our way of conveying how much we care and appreciate all that faculty/staff do for our children. Please donate.
Donations are accepted via Venmo, check, and online. The recommended donation is $100 per child but ANY AMOUNT is welcome. For more details please see last week's Weekly Jaguar.
